Volunteering is fun, easy and a great way to see shows for free!
The Victoria Fringe could not run without the help of our incredible army of volunteers who help out with a wide range of jobs, including box office, tech crew, promotions, info kiosk and more. We need almost 400 awesome volunteers to power the Fringe! Here’s how to volunteer:
-fill out a Fringe volunteer application form
-Download a copy of our Volunteer Guide to read up on all the fun jobs you can do during Fringe. Volunteer Guide 2012
-Drop by anytime from Monday Aug 20 onwards during Volunteer Centre hours (12-7pm daily) to sign up for shifts.

Host a Fringe Artist (Billeting)
We are looking for host homes for visiting Canadian and international artists. They don’t require food or transportation, just some privacy and a bed. They generally arrive a day or two before the festival and leave the day after. This is a great way to meet visiting artists and get the inside scoop on the Fringe and what shows to see! Plus to say thanks for opening your home to a traveling thespian, we provide you with Fringe tickets or passes to ensure you can check out the festival in style.
