Help the Fringe!

The Victoria Fringe Festival costs $250,000 to run each year. All funds from ticket sales go directly to the artists… In 2010 $163,000 was returned to participating Fringe performers, so Fringe organizers Intrepid Theatre fundraise year-round to make the festival possible and keep your ticket prices low. Where else can you see international, independent theatre for the price of a movie?!

We aim to raise $25,000 in individual donations this Fringe to help fund the festival. If you believe in the Fringe, consider making a one-time donation of $25 ($1 for each year of the Fringe). You’ll be repaid in gratitude, a tax receipt, festival membership and the knowledge that you have supported brave emerging artists!

Intrepid Theatre is a non-profit organisation that develops work by talented emerging artists, presents alternative theatre from around the globe, and provides affordable venues for local performers. We believe live theatre should be affordable and accessible for all audiences, so we rely on donations and grants to keep ticket prices as low. Intrepid Theatre produces solo performance festival Uno Fest, an international season of alternative theatre, and runs two theatre venues – the Metro Studio and Intrepid Theatre Club, and a community box office – Ticket Rocket.
