What is the Craig?
Named for the late great Craig Piprell – poet, journalist, reviewer and Victoria Fringe fan – The Craig is the audience review forum for the Victoria Fringe. For the past several years, the Craig has appeared in online form – so that we can allow the audience to read and post reviews instantly – and save on the expense and waste of paper.
When you visit the Craig, you can write reviews and read reviews from other audience members, which are organized by production. We do not edit reviews for content or opinion of a show, but we will remove any post that attacks the opinions of other Craig reviewers. Please don’t email us reveiws to post for you – The Craig is there for you for this purpose.
Spam does occasionally appear – we will do our best to remove it daily. If something has a “suspect” subject line, remember that you don’t have to read it. Artists also appear from time to time to review themselves. These are generally pretty easy to spot.
If you don’t want to use The Craig, you can write a review at the Fringe Central Advance Ticket Centre (1609 Blanshard) and post it on the wall.
And you can even tweet a three word review – use the hashtag #yyjfringe.
